Snack time!

Many of us moms work hard to choose foods and products that are both safe for our kids, ourselves, and the environment. That's why I think these reusable snack bags are so fabulous.

Instead of packing cheese cubes, carrots, or crackers for your child in a throw away plastic bag, try these "snack ditty" bags. They're made from 100 percent organic cotton that you can toss in the wash. The company, eco•ditty, also makes larger, sandwich-sized bags.

Better yet, head to our very own Twin Cities Green store on Hennepin Ave. in Uptown. They sell reusable cotton sandwich bags lined with water-resistant nylon and a handmade velcro enclosure.
